Oscoda Optics Eye Care Insurance Options
We understand that insurance can sometimes feel confusing, and our goal is to make the process as simple as possible. We accept a variety of vision and medical insurance plans and are here to help you understand how your coverage applies to your visit.
Vision vs. Medical Insurance
Vision and medical insurance each cover different types of eye care, and understanding the difference can help you know what to expect.
Vision insurance is typically used for routine eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses. These plans often include benefits for annual exams and help cover part of the cost of eyewear.
Medical insurance is used when your visit involves eye health concerns or conditions. This can include eye infections, injuries, diabetic eye care, glaucoma, and other medical conditions that affect your eyes.
From medical treatments to your annual eye exam, we provide a wide range of services at Oscoda Optics.
Conveniently located, we offer flexible hours to fit your busy schedule, so your care works around your life.

Out-of-Network?
We proudly participate with most major insurance providers. If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you can still receive care with us. We’re happy to provide an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
